Core principles for OPULENCE originate from highly successful International personalities who committed to put their success principles into a programme to promote prosperity creation for the many.

These principles have been put into a practical and highly effective SYSTEM by Marie.

All services are especially geared to improving wealth-producing capacity for both individuals and organizations.

Marie obtained a degree in Abstract Mathematics from Trent University, Canada, where she was personally mentored by the then University President, T E Nind. In Canada, she started her business career in electronics & then business systems, working for multi national organizations. Within a few years, she moved into Consulting, assisting a variety of clients with business systems and innovative solutions. As a practical visionary, she was able to introduce new thinking, which resulted in two offers for Directorship (Vice Presidency) from clients (whilst in her 20s).

Since moving to South Africa, Marie has been mentored and trained in the art of unlocking potential – to support individuals & organisations thrive during these changing times. Highly successful international personalities, recognising her innate talent and strong determination to make a difference, put her through the most rigorous training. Besides the obvious sharing of information, the training required intensive discipline and personal development to move beyond limiting paradigms and explore a new generation of solutions – in alignment with our new era and changing times.

  • At SASOL Gas Production where OPULENCE ran for a year and a half, major benefits were achieved:Massive cost savings were obtained through improvements in performance & ingenious solutions, something which was reflected in the Division’s interim statements as profitability shot up.
  • Change Agents – developed during the process – gained a renewed appreciation for their inherent greatness, as they expanded their ability to add value & devised remarkable solutions in targeted areas. After the Avanti process, these champions were cited as role models as they continued to expand their ability to contribute to their organization & their community.
  • Gasification – the main division – achieved their highest production record ever – overcoming a perception that increased production was impossible beyond certain levels – given the age, specifications and wear and tear of the equipment involved.
  • A number of problems – which had previously been labeled as endemic to the business – were successfully turned into breakthroughs by participants.
  • Team spirit & co-operation improved not only within teams, but also across the disciplines, contributing to building the greater Team.
  • Culture shifted in favour of responsible Learning, Innovating & Giving.
  • According to internal surveys conducted at the beginning & end of the project, employees’ attitude improved dramatically during the process. Morale went from an all time low at the beginning of the project, to being rated as the highest in the various divisions.
  • As the integration process took place, the workforce gained a greater understanding & appreciation of the intricacies of ‘Positive Reality Creation’, embracing change and ADDING VALUE on extra ordinary levels.

After mentoring a Black engineer from a manufacturing background, he became Africa’s top Sales person for a major multi national organization – outperforming by far any of his colleagues. Then within a few short years, he was appointed Country Manager.

Devised the concept of Industrial Theatre. After demonstrating its effectiveness in one of the mines, it became a household item in SA.

Some years ago, approached the Government to start a National Lottery as a way to lower taxes. Thereafter, an inquiry was conducted & the Lottery implemented.

Using the OPULENCE principles, devised a practical system – centering around incubators and innovations – to grow capable and ethical entrepreneurs and expand the economy.

Marie is best known for her commitment to Prosperity Creation along Win Win lines.

She is in South Africa by choice because she believes South Africa has the potential to become a World Leader as they meet the challenges on their path.

Since arriving in South Africa from her native Canada, she has been involved with:
